2016-17: Gauthier played in 11 games during the fall semester, skating primarily on left wing next to center Riley O'Connor.

2015-16: As a sophomore, Gauthier finished within the top five on the team in several statistical categories, including points (third), assists (third) and power play points (fourth) and ended the season as the number six scorer in four years of Lady Ice Lions history. She enjoyed arguably the best stretch of her first two collegiate seasons to open the spring semester, by posting 13 points over the first 12 games, six of which were against ACHA National Tournament qualifiers Massachusetts, Liberty and Rhode Island. Much as she did almost exactly one year earlier as a freshman, Gauthier helped a come-from-behind win over her home state UMass team, assisting Darby Kern's power play goal on January 9, 2016 to trim a third-period deficit to 3-2 in the eventual overtime victory. The engineering major delivered a career-best three consecutive multi-point games, all coming during a weekend trip to Northeastern and URI on February 5, 6 and 7, 2016.

2014-15: Fresh off of a run with the Cape Cod Storm that led to a USA Hockey Tier II 19U national title in 2014, Gauthier stepped into the Lady Ice Lions lineup and immediately became one of the team's top forwards. Her 20 points were good for fifth-best on the squad - highest among all freshmen and sophomores - and included seven multi-point games. The last of those came in Penn State's final match of the season, on March 6, 2015 against Grand Valley State at the ACHA National Tournament, where a pair of power play deflection goals helped a 3-3 tie. Those two tallies allowed Gauthier to share the team lead in PPGs with Devon Fisk and, combined with another snipe against Liberty two days earlier, helped the extremely strong student finish tied for second among all goal scorers at nationals. Another pair of buries on January 11, 2015 helped PSU rally from 2-1 and 3-2 deficits against Massachusetts.
