2016-17: During her second year, Miller made the full transition into one of Penn State's top-end players. Midway through the campaign, she shifted from center to Riley O'Connor's left wing, and finished the year well in delivering team highs in points (15) and assists (11). She collected her first goal of the season, along with an assist, during a trip to play home-state nemesis Rhode Island on October 28 and 29, 2016. URI was again the opponent on December 10, 2016 when Miller earned a pair of assists, for the second multi-point game of her career. That latter contest began a stretch of ten points over 12 games to close out the year, including a 1-1-2 line in the ECWHL third-place game against Northeastern on February 26, 2017.

2015-16: En route to being named the Lady Ice Lions' top freshman for the season, Miller fit seamlessly in the lineup, where she was generally slotted as the second center. Her play was notable for being smart, disciplined and responsible to go along with some timely offensive production. She scored in each of her first three collegiate games, at Massachusetts on October 9 and 10, 2015 and at Northeastern on October 11, 2015. The first two of those markers came on the advantage, giving Penn State an early jump start towards posting, by far, the most efficient power play in recorded team history. Miller's first multi-point game came through a pair of assists in an overtime win over UMass on January 9, 2016.

Prior to Penn State: Miller played for the Rhode Island Sting Tier II U19 team in addition to Barrington High School. With BHS, she won state championships in each of her first three years, including tournament co-MVP honors as a sophomore after scoring twice in the championship-clinching victory. Miller grabbed a litany of other awards as well, including being named to the all-division team in every season as an Eagle and a nomination for a Rhode Island Cox Sports Award (given to the outstanding player in each high school sport) as a freshman. She was a frequent player in major showcases, including three years at Hockey Night in Boston and one at America's Hockey Showcase.

Personal: Meghan Elizabeth Miller was born on July 19, 1997 in Providence, RI to Gordon and Lisa Miller and has one brother, Stephen. She is presently seeking to major in either business with a concentration in marketing or communications in advertising and public relations. In high school, Miller was an academic and athletic dynamo, including membership in the Rhode Island Honor Society and qualification for honor roll every semester. She was a four-year starter on Barrington High School's field hockey team, helping the Eagles to a state championship as a freshman and earning all-division honors two times.
